The practical assignment will be a business case for a mobile service. Therefore the group will be spit in 4 teams (companies), competing against each other on a virtual market. The tasks for every team include the cost and benefit analysis, the invention and specification of the mobile service. Finally a presentation of the results, will conclude this practical assignment.
The preparation of a seminar thesis, a presentation of your results, and successful participation in the practice assignment. The presentations will be held as a block seminar. The attendance for the practical assignments is mandatory on several dates throughout the semester. Finally, leaving the seminar without results will cause a Malus credit.
For the creation of your seminar thesis, the formal requirements of the chair for M-Commerce apply.
For the submission of your seminar thesis you have to hand in the following items:
* Two print-outs of your seminar thesis document
* The word file(via email or on CD)
* A PDF version of the document (via email or on CD)

Exam:

The written qualification exam for seminar admission will take place on th 11th of April 2005, 08:00 - 9:30 (Room: K I/II).

Registration
* Abgeschlossene Diplomvorprüfung / finished undergraduate phase.
* The seminar itself will not be held in English, however good language skills are helpful for English sources.

The seminar will be held as a workshop in Riezlern at a seminar house from June 23-26, 2005.
Travel expenses have to be covered by the participants. The cost of lodging including food will be max. 30,00 € per day per person.
